GEISHA GIRL (HOW TO WEAR KIMONOS IN SPRING)

Hello Little Bites! Although I love winter and autumn seasons, this year I started to like spring :) Not only the season, but also the trends that is comes with. In today's post, I wanted to wear something unusual for me and of course something that could fit perfectly for the weather here in Athens, which is this vintage kimono! This time, I combined two 2017 spring trends, which are floral clothes and bras over shirts, dresses,blouses, tops etc. . ORIENTAL VINTAGE 88

You may know this brand if you read my posts frequently, because in one of them, I showed you my favorite pieces from there :) It is a British shop, which sells Japanese Vintage Kimonos, Obi, Haori & Yukata. Silver Flower (YinHua), the owner, loves framing Oriental silk fabrics with magnificent patterns and display them on the wall. It was in 2012, when she decided to open a Oriental Vintage shop online for those people who also have so much passion on silk fabric - clothing, and of course to keep her husband's collection under control. If there is anything you particularly want don't hesitate to contact her and she will see if she can get it for you. You can also find there belts, obi's, obijimes, handbags, kimono bags and kimono accessories. I decided to wear in the most stylish way one (kimono ) of the items Silver Flower sent me :)

Ppz is a fashion lingerie brand established in Michigan, USA since 2001. It strives to find the balance between casual and elegance due to delicate fabrics, simple,comfortable and fashion style. What I love about Ppz is that it aims to help more women to express enthusiasm and vigor in life. I chose this removable allure lace plunge bra in dark blue and decided to wear it the most unexpected way, over my shirt ;)

HER SWEET EMBRACE
"Her Sweet Embrace" is Candian brand, which was officially opened on Jan 2012 by Melanie Yong. Melanie was born and raised in Singapore. She is an only child, so her parents mean the world to her. They supported her decision to pursue Design. It was half way through her degree year that Melanie decided to open an Etsy shop, it was something she had wanted to do for ages but never got around to starting it. Melanie's mother is her mentor when it comes to sewing cross stitch. She taught her how to sew when she was 9, and Melanie has been sewing for more than 15 years now. The name "Her Sweet Embrace" came about from a song title by Corrinne May called "Save Me". This song inspired her greatly, likewise craft inspires her all the time and she hopes that the craft she makes would inspire people too. Melanie moved to Ontario, Canada in 2015, where she continues to craft and sell to all over the world. I couldn't resist and ordered this super cute matryoshka doll collar pin. In Moldova, where I come from, you can see so many cute Russians dolls like this. I think this pin will also look cool on a denim jacket or jeans, don't forget to check Melanie's shop to get your pin, earrings, rings, etc. ;)
