Hello Fashionistas! This summer Kimono is one of the biggest fashion trends and no wonder why. The Kimono is a Japanese traditional women’s garment, though it traces its origins back to China, where it was first worn during the Qing Dynasty and it was named Hanfu. It’s flowy, feminine and it comes in a variety of patterns and colors. Wearing one will change your style immediately and will give you a totally Far East vibe, it will make you feel like a Japanese princess! You can combine it with shorts, jeans and pretty much everything else that you are wearing in summer. I chose to combine it with a monochromatic white outfit, with beige accents and gold beaded detailing on the neck of the blouse, which contributed to the outfit’s ethnic feeling. Exploring other cultures is great and fashion-luckily- always finds a way to remind us of that. Don’t be afraid to play and discover!

Hello Fashionistas! Αυτό το καλοκαίρι το κιμονό αποτελεί μια από τις πιο δυνατές τάσεις και καταλαβαίνω απόλυτα το γιατί. Το Κιμονό είναι ένα Γιαπωνέζικο παραδοσιακό γυναικείο ένδυμα, ενώ ρίζες του βρίσκουμε και πίσω στην Αρχαία Κίνα, οπού πρωτοφορέθηκε κατά την Δυναστεία Qing και ονομαζόταν Hanfu. Είναι αέρινο, θηλυκό και μπορείς να το βρεις σε πολλά χρώματα και σχέδια. Φορώντας ένα, το στυλ σου θα αλλάξει αμέσως και θα σου δώσει έναν αέρα Άπω Ανατολής, κάνοντας σε να νοιώσεις σας Γιαπωνέζα πριγκίπισσα! Μπορείς να το συνδυάσεις με τζίν ή σορτσάκι και γενικότερα οτιδήποτε καλοκαιρινό φοράς. Σε αυτό το post, αποφάσισα να το συνδυάσω με ένα λευκό, μονοχρωματικό outfit με μπεζ λεπτομέρειες και χρυσή πλέξη από χάνδρες στο λαιμό, η οποία συνέβαλε στο ethnic vibe του ντυσίματος. Το να εξερευνείς άλλες κουλτούρες είναι υπέροχο και η μόδα-ευτυχώς- πάντα βρίσκει ένα τρόπο να μας το θυμίζει αυτό. Μην φοβάστε να παίξετε και να ανακαλύψετε!
